| ■ Sioushuei Township until now In the early Japanese occupation era, Mazhibao, Maxing, Maming Mountain, Anndong, Oujianglun, Zengcun, Xialun, Yanwushangbao, Sioushuei and Shanxhad gradually had become self-control areas. Sioushuei Township was named Toushuei at that time; however, in Jia Qing reign of Ching Dynasty, it was renamed as Sioushui. In those self-control areas, there were native residents called Pingpu tribe in Mazhilin; that’s theorigin of the name of Mazhibao.In the year 3 of the Yong Zheng region, people whose surname were Wang and Yu from Quanzhou Nanann County, people whose surname was Chen from JinJiang County, and people whose surname was Ma from Zhangzhou County started migrating and formed tribes gradually during Jia Qing and Gan Long regions. Sioushuei Township was taken rule over by Changhua County in Ching Dynasty. In the year 28 of Mingzhi region, Japan announced Domestic affairs laws in June at same year; in the year 29 of Mingzhi region, Sioushuei was exercised jurisdiction over by Taichung County. In the year 30 of Mingzhi region, Taichung County took control of Yanwushangbao, Yuanlin Bureau, Mazhibao, and also established the head of village. In the year 34 of Mingzhi region, revised”county” to “hall”, and it was under the rule of Changhua Hall. In the year 42 of Mingzhi region, Changhua Hall merged, it had taken over by Taichung County again, and formed People's commune. After that, in the year 9 of Dazheng region, the concept of self control area was developed; it had reorganized from “district” to “Sioushuei Village”.DeZhong Gan was assigned to be the first head of Sioushuei Village. In the year 13 of Dazang region, Xunqian Xu held a post, after the period expired, Aodaoxianqing, a Japanese, took over the job. In the year 18 of Zhaohe region, changed the head to Xingdikangxiang, and in the year 20 of Zhaohe region, assigned Pinmucilang to take over the role of the head. In the year 34 of the ROC, Taiwan restored, assigned Jiachen Chen to be in charge of Sioushuei Township, as the head of Sioushuei Township |

| Sioushuei Township is a long shaped quiet rural village. Situated on the southwest side of Changhua City, and it reaches stretching from the eastern boundary of Huatan Township, to the western boundary of Lugang Town and FuXing Township, to the southern boundary of Dacun Township and Puyan Township, and to the northern border of Hemei Town and Changhua City. | |||||||||||
